Welcome to The Fishermans Return. We are a 300 year old brick and flint Pub
situated in the picturesque unspoilt Norfolk village of Winterton-on-Sea, with
long stretches of sandy beaches and beautiful walks within a few minutes stroll.
Whether seal or bird watching, you can't fail to be impressed with our natural environment, a large
part of which is owned by the National Trust. Spring and late summer brings us
many migratory birds and a number of rare visitors.
Inland, within easy reach is The Norfolk Broads National Park and we are thankfully 8 miles
away from the razzamatazz of Gt. Yarmouth. The Fishermans is popular with locals
and visitors alike serving excellent food with a good choice of local real ales
and fine wines which has resulted in being featured in all the leading Pub Guides.
Whether you just want a simple bar snack or a more substantial meal, we can cater
for you. Booking a table is not necessary but we do appreciate notice for large
groups.
